Caivano paints everyday scenes, such as these three teenage girls in swimming costumes at the edge of a swimming pool or open-air water. The way he shapes the scene is remarkable: muted, brownish colours interspersed with bright areas and patches of colour, combined with the hazy filter hanging over the image. A random snapshot from ordinary life, it seems, to be freely interpreted.
