THE ARTIST: HENK SOMERS
Henk Somers is a party architect who organises events as if they were works of art with his company Eland. He also creates visual art in which his fascination for Japanese and, more specifically, Bonsai culture seeps through. This is evident in his approach to the Arena. An apparently calm water surface disturbed only by a breeze, a stray drop or a koi carp hiding under the surface.
